Treatment Methods
Chiropractors have a variety of different tools and techniques to apply when treating clients. Our primary tools are our hands along with analysis of muscle, nerve and movement patterns your body may have become locked in and which are no longer working for you. Dr. Weiser will examine you for tight muscles, irritated nerves and joint fixations throughout each treatment. He will then gently adjust your spine using a specialized chiropractic instrument called an Activator. This instrument provides a very specfically directed, low-force, high speed adjustment to the alignment of the vertebra and also affects the nervous system to rebalance nerve flow and muscle tone. Dr. Weiser is the only Activator Certified Chiropractor in Beit Shemesh.

The Activator is a hand-held instrument that delivers a low force, high velocity thrust to the spinal vertebra or its joints to improve movement, decrease joint fixation and restore proper nerve flow patterns.
As a patient, when you first see the Activator instrument it may look intimidating and is humorously described as a “gun” or a “stapler” by some patients.
Dr. Weiser will show you exactly what it does, demonstrate the thrust, and make sure you are totally at ease before moving forward with treatment.
The Activator is designed to apply a similar force to manual adjustments but focused on a more specific area. By modifying the speed and intensity of the thrust delivered by the instrument, every adjustment is custom tailored to you and to the specific bone and joint being worked on. This means your treatment will be comfortable, relaxing and maximally effective.
Of course some clients have been to other chiropractors and prefer the more forceful "traditional" type of chiropractic. Dr. Weiser's 30 years of experience allows him to create a custom adjustment for every patient. There are times when both he and his client decide that a traditional type of adjustment may be more appropriate for a specific area. That's the beauty of being able to customize every adjustment to your body's needs.
